Lisboa Quinta da Chocapalha Red
Quinta da Chocapalha was one of the farms that led the wine
revolution with its modern and fruity flavored wine. The propriety
founded its roots five-hundred years ago, with the noble scotsman
Diogo Duff. During the eighties of the last century its successors
fell in love with the hills around Lisboa and decided to realize the
best “quinta” of the region.
It's a big, smoky wood flavored wine, with a scent of dark spice.
With the weight of fruit, though, it should develop into a solid and
rich wine, layering its tannins with sweet black plum flavors.
This wine feels big and brawny, its tannins powering through the
body. It has a strong structure, firm black plums, the acidity giving
a lift to the weight of dark fruits, very concentrated and dense. If
you would like to, you can leave it aging for 2-3 years.
